SKELETONWITCH Launch Third Webisode
ВідповістиВидалитиAmerican metal tyrants SKELETONWITCH have launched the third webisode documenting the recording of their upcoming release, "Forever Abomination." See the band in the studio, and how they filled their downtime exclusively at ForeverAbomination.com now! The new album hits streets on October 11th, and many independent retailers are offering special incentives. For a list of retailers offering a free poster (while supplies last!) go here. The band is currently on the road supporting Arch Enemy and Devildriver; they will then headline select shows in October and before joining forces with Kvelertak for a short run of dates. As announced last week, the band will be participating in this fall's Jagermeister Music Tour alongside Chimaira and Unearth. The group will kick off 2012 by supporting The Black Dahlia Murder in the UK and France.
"Forever Abomination" was recorded in Los Angeles over the summer with producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Children of Bodom). It will be issued in three formats: digital download; a six-panel, plastic-free digipak; and a triple-gatefold LP (which in turn will be available in several color variants). More details and pre-order are available at ForeverAbomination.com. The album features artwork by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Holy Grail, Cannabis Corpse), who also contributed the cover art for the band's 2009 release, Breathing The Fire. The track "Reduced to the Failure of Prayer" is now in rotation at Sirius/XM's Liquid Metal and can be requested at their Facebook page. The track can also be streamed at ForeverAbomination.com, where the album can be pre-ordered. The band will be on the cover (pictured above) of next month's Decibel as well.

"Isolated Incidents" - which the band has been performing live in recent months during their tours with Deftones and Between The Buried and Me, as well as their summer North American headlining tour - can be streamed now at Prosthetic Records' webstore, where the official pre-order has launched.
"Weightless" will be available on CD, MP3 and LP. The CD comes in a six-panel, plastic-free "eco-package," while the LP version is limited to 1000 copies in a custom, die-cut, heavyweight Stoughton jacket with a download card. There are three color variations: 500 copies on 180-gram black wax, 400 on clear and 100 on "Weightless blue." There are also two exclusive T-shirts and a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, with a limited-edition screen print offered for those who purchase the "deluxe" bundle (both shirts and either an LP or CD).

"Weightless" is the act's second release and will be released by Prosthetic Records in North America on Nov. 8, in mainland Europe on Nov. 4 and in the UK on Nov. 7. The endeavor was produced by drummer Navene Koperweis and ANIMALS AS LEADERS and mixed by guitarist Javier Reyes. The album marks the recording debuts of Koperweis and Reyes with ANIMALS AS LEADERS.
The band is currently in Europe supporting Between the Buried and Me following a string of shows as direct support to the Deftones. They will kick off an extensive North American tour alongside Between The Buried And Me on Oct. 27
