9MM Dem Teufel ein Gebet
ЭММ "Dem Teufel ein Gebet"
Style: German Rock
Country: Germany
Release Date: 21 Oct 11 (EU)
9MM, the die-hard German Rock / heavy metal rock 'n' rollers, have been firing out melodies to their fans for more than 5 years.
The band is not only known for their uncompromising sound, not unlike like the roaring of a Harley Davidson, but also for their heavy and sweat-stained live presence, which is a relentless call to partying without end!
9MM's uniqueness and authenticity comes from a wide array of musical influences such as heavy rock, rock 'n' roll, and punk, as well as from Rock Rotten's German vocals.
9MM ARR embody both a rare musical direction and an appealing way of life that inspires people to form myriad fan clubs. Currently, over 70 fan clubs exist throughout Germany.
The band had their breakthrough with their hit "Assi RnR" in 2006. National and international radio stations gave the band massive airplay, while TV stations featured them extensively and print magazines praised them profusely.
In 2007, the band embarked on a German tour with the legendary Girlschool and also shared festival stages with bands like Doro, U.D.O., Grave Digger, Bonfire, and many more.
In 2008 and 2009, 9MM played more than 100 concerts in support of bands like Slayer, Volbeat, Subway to Sally, etc. Highlights among this series of shows were the gigs at Wacken, GOND, and Deutschrock-Monsterfestival. Furthermore, almost 10,000 fans saw the band live on their 2008 headlining tour.
After all this success, the world of music could do nothing else than take notice.
The album "Champagner, Koks und Nutten" was released in 2010 and entered the Media Control Newcomer Charts at number 3! The same year, 9mm signed a booking and publishing deal with ICSM/acken.
Besides numerous festivals, the band also performed at the "Big 3" in 2010: Wacken, Rock am Ring, and Rock im Park. In 2011 the band performed shows in support of Motorhead and Alice Cooper, and took the stage at Summer Breeze.
Choosing not to rest on their laurels, 9MM's new album, "Dem Teufel ein Gebet", is scheduled for a 21 Oct. 2011 release via Napalm Records, so lock your doors and hide your daughters! 9MM, along with their loyal "Assi" commandos, are out combing the streets. Rock Rotten and his lads continue to stand for rebellion, freedom, and uninhibited partying on their fourth full-length release. "Dem Teufel ein Gebet" delivers an honest and loud attitude, surpassing that of the band's previous smash hit "Champagner, Koks & Nutten". The current 9-track album could easily be the filthy bastard of Rose Tatto, Motorhead, and the best of German rock, always bringing a good dose of aggressiveness and appeal to the table. Songs such as "Wenn Traume fliegen", "Dein Wille ist Gesetz", and "Der letzte Engel" will not only create a sweat-inducing atmosphere inside your four walls, but also produce enough heat to get you perspiring at any one of the band's many live performances. The uncensored song lyrics never hold back and speak for those, who have had enough. "Dem Teufel ein Gebet" will send chills down the backs of conservatives and begrudgers, while providing ideal revolutionary sounds for freedom-loving rockers. Grab the CD, invite your friends over, and live by the motto "Party Rock 'n' Beer"!
