HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH / TITANARUM -Split LP

Hummingbird of Death is a critical fastcore band from Boise, Idaho. They have been around the scene for a while and continue to blast out the most pulverizing fastcore you have ever heard. In this recording, they do a radical job with giving some new stop-and-start powerviolence / grind blasts to aid in the totally fast breaks that they include!

Titanarum is also a totally killer band – these folks hail from California. They play(ed) some seriously radical punk hardcore / thrash. This is angry, raw, and fast – with combining some of the punkrock feel in a very unique and brutal way! This is their last recording, sadly!

MISERY INDEX entered Wright Way Studios (DYING FETUS, SLIPKNOT, MOS DEF) on January 2 with engineer Steve Wright to begin recording its new album, tentatively titled "Heirs To Thievery", for a May release via Relapse Records.

MISERY INDEX's discography collection of splits and EPs, "Pulling Out The Nails" (named after the first song the band wrote), has just been released on CD through the band's own Anarchos Records imprint, and will soon be made available on double vinyl through Power It Up (Germany). It features 30 tracks, including all non-album material from 2001-2008, such as the "Overthrow" and "Dissent" EPs, as well as the splits with STRUCTURE OF LIES, COMMIT SUICIDE, MUMAKIL, and BATHTUB SHITTER, the "Hang 'Em High" 7", live tracks, bonus covers, etc. The compilation was remastered by Scott Hull last year. This CD includes an extensive 24-page booklet of details, notes, pictures, and an all-time list of all the shows MISERY INDEX has performed. The group states, "We hope it's the final representation of the various incarnations of the band in the past eight years."

Netherton previously stated about the upcoming CD, "The thread that binds several songs lyrically surrounds ideas of hidden history, how we interpret our nation, and our idea of who we are culturally and collectively, as it is generally handed down to us in terms of icons, wars, struggles and triumph."

MISERY INDEX will embark on a tour of Australia and New Zealand this spring. The trek will kick off in early April and will also include DECAPITATED, PSYCROPTIC, and ORIGIN.

Sick Drummer Magazine wants to see you do exactly that… grind YOUR face off! Watch the video and create your own version of you drumming with the most intensity and fury you can possibly exhibit!

Этот грайнд акт напомнил мне незабвенных Terrorizer с их ультра мега классик релизом World Downfall. Почему, спросите Вы ? так всё просто. Эти парни рубят мощнейший грайндкор так, словно это их последний альбом на этой Земле. Германия издавна славилась своими грайнд проектами. Взять хотя бы Blood. Не знаю почему, но музыка этого проекта напомнила мне давно распавшихся Impetigo. Такая же мощь, экспрессия и как сказано в пресс релизе – “нежное сочетание классического дез метала (Death Metal) и приятного грайндкора (Grindcore)”. Наверно такую музыку сейчас играли бы impetigo, если бы не развалились. Группа относительно молодая, сформировавшаяся в 2005 году но очень талантливая. Это их демо 2008 года. Ждём полноформатного альбома. Даю — Оригинальность 8 брутальность 8

Decrepidemic was born in 2002, spawned by Eduardo Fernandes's (P.G.) desire to deliver some quality Brutal Death Metal. In 2002, Nelson Velho (Banjo), Paulo Rodrigues and Ricardo (Fred) joined the band, and so the line-up was complete. In 2003, the band played several shows across their own country and Spain. In the same year, Decrepidemic recorded their first Demo, entitled «Rehearsal CD» as a way to promote the band. In 2006, Diogo joined the band, beeing the line-up finally complete with: P.G. — Guitar/Vocals, Banjo — Guitar, Paulo — Bass, Fred — Vocals & Diogo — Drums. Unfortunately their vocals (Fred) left the band because of some personal things, the band wish him all the luck in the world in his future projects! After that, in early 2008 the band entered Grave Studios to record their debut álbum and during the recording period they felt they needed a new singer to record the album and play it live. The first candidate was Roger, but due to personal reasons he could not compromise, and after some wasted time in studio with the vocals spot still to be filled, the band decided that P.G. (guitar, vocals) would record all vocals. The line up is now P.G. (guitar, vocals), Banjo (guitar), Paulo (bass), Fred (Session vocals) and Diogo (drums). The band is actually is looking for places to spread their sound live, as well as possible bands interested in releasing some splits and tour as much as possible.

Formed from the remaining members of Flint, Michigan deathcore band Skin Casket. Deano & Mike took elements from all styles of music that both enjoy and combined it with politically-charged lyrics. After relocating to Arizona,sadistic mutiny recruited Pat(trainwreck)Newton on guitar and Brandon on drums,the line up was finally completed. First off I would like to say that we are stoked to be here in AZ. Its been a while since our last blog and a lot has happened since then. We released our new EP«barcode» , opened for Vital Remains, and have done several other shows in the Phoenix area. The most recent turn of events? SPONSORSHIP!! Yes! Our drummer is now sponsored by 7 Drumworks. There drums are kick ass and we look forward to making as much noise with them as we possibly can. I will be sure to post new blogs as often as I can.But for now, we want to thank everyone in the Phoenix and surrounding areas for your support and look forward to tearing it up onstage with as many of you as possible. NOISEBAZOOKA is a 2 piece band from Vienna / Austria / Europe, was formed in late November 2005 out of the ashes of MONOLITH to produce and perform extreme, fast and aggressive grindcore-music in the vein of early NAPALM DEATH, early CARCASS or BRUTAL TRUTH combined with the new sound and weirdness of AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, DISCORDANCE AXIS, YACØPSÆ, JESUS CRØST, INSECT WARFARE, or MAGRUDERGRIND.
