The debut official release from a unique Belorussian band. The music of Re123+ is an act of meditation. Each time the band offers to a listener another kind of sound, never repeats itself preparing a special program for each concert.“Magi” is a travel to the Past demonstrating the ancient story of Adoration of Magi to the listener as an astrological story. This is the attempt to understand and to see the true essence of matter while clearing it from various interpretations. This album like all other Re123+ works was recorded during night time. Besides traditional drone-touched guitars the musicians introduced sounds of accordion, triangle and percussion. Stylistically their music varies from drone-doom to post-rock and will surely suit the tastes of early Earth fans.For proper visualization of the album’s idea the booklet includes photo art by members of Re123+ accompanied by citations from «The Island of the Day Before» by famous postmodernist Umberto Eco.

«Playing God And Other Short Stories», the long anticipated upcoming new full-length from legendary Israeli extreme metallers SALEM, is currently streaming in its entirety via Noisecreep / AOL Music!
Noisecreep.com recently also caught up with SALEM skinsman Nir Nakav on an exclusive interview, giving a more detailed insight on the meaning behind each song on «Playing God And Other Short Stories».
Ah, the Salem digestive system! That means the tunes come out as sometimes thrashy, sometimes doomy, yet always corrosive metal. Nir described the music as having a «good tension and release balance, since we aren't going for the extreme at all times.» His perspective is that a song needs to be constructed like a movie, «with blast sections being countered by slower sections. Extremity for the sake of extremity gets boring. You need to give your listeners a chance to breathe every now and then. It's like being an expert interrogator, and violence is not always the answer.»
Nir walked us through a handful of songs, which you can use as your guide when enjoying the tracks. "'Drums of the Dead' is Salem's soundtrack to a Dark Horse comic book of the same name,» he said of the percussive track. «In the story, Abe Sapien goes on his first solo mission without Hellboy to look into reported paranormal activities that are taking place on a shipping route. We don't want to ruin the story, so go get 'BPRD Vol. 1,' put the CD on and have a blast.»
Nir also revealed that the roaring, staccato 'Exodus' is like their version of the Bob Marley classic. «The Rastafaris use the biblical story of the ancient Hebrews struggle in Egypt to be released from slavery as a symbol for their own fight,» he said. «One theory claims that King Solomon gave the Ark of the Covenant to the son of the Queen of Sheba, who was of African descent and one of his many wives. Another says that the Ark of the Covenant is buried somewhere amidst the mountain of Judea, and that the queen's son took a replica. The Ark is still buried or in exile. We thought it was time for us to reclaim our heritage. So here we are again, on the journey out of Egypt, Salem style.»
'Downfall of Paris' is «a pretty bloody one,» according to Nir. It also features female vocals. «It dates back to the French Revolution, but will be forever identified with the American Civil War. This tune's history is so rich, we could have had an entire article written about that alone. Let's just conclude our commentary about this song with Elson's [National Music of America, 1899] report: 'It was sung to many a scene of massacre and bloodshed; it was warbled and trilled out when the mob carried the head of the beautiful Princess de Lamballe, on a pike, through the streets of Paris, and thrust it up for the unhappy queen to look at.'»

Nonetheless, “The Tenant” is a reflection and progression of all that LUDICRA have brought to the fore with their three previous and wondrous works in which said result culminates in LUDICRA’s most epic, progressive, and accomplished release to date.
By combining influences that seamlessly work their way into LUDICRA’s musical blueprint, influences in which reference the likes of the second wave of Norwegian Black Metal, traditional and classic heavy metal, punk, progressive, and neo-folk, LUDICRA have always held a firm balance within their sound that borders on the threshold of ugly and beautiful. “The Tenant” nonetheless is the sonic depiction (and product) of the harsh and seedy underbelly that the band members dwell and roam within, one in which the struggle for everyday survival is a harsh reality within the confines of the dark damp corners of The Bay Area. Hence it’s only fitting that «The Tenant» conveys such themes of urban survival in the band's natural habitat and environment. It’s almost akin in a way how Wim Wenders paid homage to the city of Berlin through his film Wings Of Desire, or how Martin Scorsese gave his ode to the dark recesses of New York through such films as Mean Streets and Taxi Driver, it is through “The Tenant” that LUDICRA deliver their musical homage and ode to The Bay Area, told through their eyes.

Этот альбом начинается с футуристического Интро, чтобы затем перейти в прогрессив метал. Помню, я уже рецензировал их предыдущий релиз, будем отталкиваться от него. Так вот, агрессивных частей здесь очень мало. Вход идёт, как я уже говорил, вышеупомянутый прогрессив. Да и не метал это вовсе наверно это теперь а просто рок. Лёгкий, ненапрягающий мозги рок, под который приятно, сидя на диване, расслабится, почитать чтонибуть … и сладко вздремнуть набираясь силы для более брутальных релизов Даю — Оригинальность 6 брутальность 2

Ahoora, was formed late 2001, in Tehran, Iran. The influences were shown in the early covers: Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath …etc. The band recorded its first demo tape “The Call of Beneath” back in 2004, due to gain permission from the culture ministry of Islamic Iran: breaking the broken!
In May 2005 Ahoora played its first official gig, the first metal performance ever with vocals in Iran. The band played two sets, First: Iced Earth songs & the 2nd set: four Ahoora songs that later were heard on the debut album. Ahoora was forced to cancel the second night though.
February 13th 2006, saw the release of self titled debut album as a forbidden release in Iran. Although the release can be analyzed as a unique event in Iranian music scene, the foreign feedbacks have always been stronger. Ultimate Metal called it «hard-hitting, true heavy metal “and The Metal Observer wrote “They are walking a very fine line, very fit on their instruments» while Chronicles of Chaos believed «Ahoora have clearly spent a lot of time honing their sound, both individually and as a unit, resulting in a coherent and tight album.»
The band was invited to play at Evergreen Music Festival in Washington D.C; but missed the lifetime opportunity because of the strict exit laws. In September 2006 the late concert in support of the first release was cancelled by the authorities, leaving no chance to perform the album for the fans and made “Ahoora” a banned act. Throughout the recording of the second album, the band missed the chance of performing at ’07 version of famous Metal Camp. The idea was shut down thanks again to the exit laws.
Ahoora’s 2nd album,”All in Blood with You”, came out on 30th of September 2007, which was a major step forwards in many ways. The album was received even warmer by metal & underground media. As Metal Mayhem named it as “…already one of the favorites of the year»”; Ultimate Metal called it “an incredible release that everyone should check out” while Progressive Rock&Metal described it as “A surprisingly quality metal masterpiece”. In early 2008 the British Real2Can released Ahoora’s self titled debut album digitally worldwide.
Ahoora’s third album “Awkward Diary” was written throughout 2008 and the band started recording in April 2009. The sessions were put on hold after 3 months due personal problems and the panic situation within the country. However the band picked it up and finished the recordings by October. In 26th of October, Ahoora released its first ever single, “Crimson Baby”. The song is dedicated to Neda & all who died innocently in Tehran streets during the conflicts of June 2009. The single was released through the Italian free label KO-REC, available for free download.

Silver Skull originally started as a two piece in 2008. Josh Endres, just shy of 14 years old began playing the guitar and Justin Endres, just shy of 9, picked up his first pair of sticks, not realizing at the time the path they were about to embark on. The two brothers, determined to put out some killer metal tunes for all, practiced relentlessly to perfect their sound as a two piece. With Josh belting out the brutal vocals while playing insane guitar riffs and Justin playing drum licks often not heard in many other metal bands. In this time they were able to complete many original tunes some of which include «Tomorrow Will Never Come,» «Sabretooth,» and «As the Clock Winds Down.» Realizing that the unique sound they were creating should be shared with the world, the pair decided it was time to expand as a band. They began searching for additional members, focusing on a bassist at first, with the possibility of adding additional members in the future. The duo quickly realized that the position of bassist wasn't going to be filled overnight and were easily able to weed out all the half steppers as they came their way. Still determined to share their music with the world the pair decided that they would soldier on as a two piece until the right bassist came along. With nearly two years of playing together Josh and Justin, more determined then ever to bring all of you metalheads the most brutal tunes they could possibly create remained focused on their originals and began playing out as a two piece at the age of 15 (Josh) and 10 (Justin) The two played out as a two piece for a little while and somehow knew their bass player was out there and would find them soon enough. Not giving up hope they still soldiered on and as luck would have it the night they had been waiting for was finally here. At a show one night they had a few offers from people willing to try their hand at the bass for the pair. Fast forward to present day, with the addition of Codi Stark as bassist Silver Skull now has a complete lineup. Codi began playing out with Silver Skull at the age of 14. With a three hour set Silver Skull is easily able to play out at venues and private parties. The three are focused on perfecting their sound as a three piece. They continue to focus on their originals and don't play cover songs. Not that there is anything wrong with a cover band, you just won't ever catch this band playing «Sweet Home Alabama.» To date the only cover that Silver Skull will play is «Pure Hatred» by Chimaira, a favorite band of all the members. Although even «Pure Hatred» isn't played too often by them, only when requested. For those of you who have read this far there is one final aspect that we must make a point to mention. All of our «Myspace Friends» are truly awesome and we thank all of you for supporting us and being a part of our musical journey with us. With that said there are also a few people that deserve «honorable» mentions, the list is far too great for us to be able to cover all of them, but we will do our best to compile a small list. We are back from Funeral Nation Tour 2010! Yes, we survived this
was heavy crowded and got a great atmosphere, every day! It was such
an experience for us to play in balkan countries like Romania, Bulgaria,
Greece & Serbia and to see that metal is united!
We wanna thank all fans out there for the great support! Respect! Also

The actual 4th album «dust» was released on Nov. 13th 2009 by Twilight Rec.! This new masterpiece contains 12 tracks of crushing Deathmetal straight in your face! Mastic Scum also joined the «European Tour 2010«with Marduk & Vader in January 2010!
The album was mixed at Grindlab Studio and mastered by Andy Classen (Belphegor, Tankard, Disbelief) in September. Artwork was designed by Killustrations (Six Feet Under, Kataklysm, Amon Amarth). We're pretty fuckin' psyched about it and can't wait to hear/see the final product. Stay tuned!
We are also happy to announce that our future home is now with Germanys label Twilight Rec. / Distribution (In Slumber, Disparaged, Koldbrann, Grind Inc., Requiem, Lost Dreams, Hatred). We needed a new record label and in the end Twilight won us over with their integrity. Scum ahead!
BAND HISTORY:
Without pandering to trends, or losing the thread, MASTIC SCUM continue to demonstrate their mission. The band was formed in the middle of the 90s and issued 4 albums and different spilt-releases so far. MASTIC SCUM, a well-developed four-piece from Vienna (Austria) is a true product of the thriving underground, a single-mindly focused band, creating raging heavy and aggressive music straight in the face!
Till now MASTIC SCUM was on stage throughout Europe, Turkey and the USA. The band did a lot of tours like the «Funeral Nation Tour 2010“ with Marduk & Vader, the «Grind Your Mind” Tour in 2006, “Scars Over Europe” Tour in 2004, «Straight Into the Balls Tour 2003” with Master & Lividity and some small tours like “Tortour 2002”, the “Fuck The Commerce Tour” in 2000 and the “Hang Over Tour” in 1997. MASTIC SCUMs experience and popularity grew with every show and tour.
No compromise and against all odds, MASTIC SCUM always wants to move forward: “We never want to stop improving as a band, also as individual musicians, as songwriters and as performers.
