Review - Anthrax Worship Music

Надежда превратилась в большое разочарование
Как преданный фанат группы, я с недоумением, смотрел за новостями 90х годов, когда Anthrax сменил вокалиста и стиль , комментируя что именно Буш это то что группа долго хотела но боялась сказать. Я задавал себе много раз вопрос чем же Белладонна не угодил группе и разве новый сиэтловский гранж металл - это есть треш? После мы попрощались с Антраксом на многие годы ... трэш умер
Известие о возвращении старого вокалиста заставило реинкарнировать старые чувства. Концерты "Большой Четвёрки" самое значимое событие за последние годы. Мы надеялись услышать олд скульное звучание или хотя бы в стиле persistence of time, но все надежды были разбиты в дребезги ...
Музыка выполнена в стиле the sound of white noise + высокий уровень нынешних технологий + Speed Metal начала восьмидесятых. Создается такое впечатление, что музыка была заточена под Буша, а Белладонна вносит своё в музыку альбома насколько это возможно. В целом музыка хороша, но это уже не старый, добрый антраксовский трэш, а Modern Heavy / Speed Metal. (Местами напоминает сольный проэкт Белладонны). Увы, возвращение к корням не произошло.

Kerry King alongside other members of the "Big 4" will take part in the second "Metal Masters Clinic" taking place at the Best Buy Theatre in New York City on September 12th.

A minimum of 500 wristbands, with a limit of one per person, will be given out. So, all attending should get in line early for a chance to witness these masters of metal in action.

Be a ZOMBIE!!!

Scott Ian, who's best known as the rhythm and lead guitarist for the heavy metal band Anthrax hooked up with the guys from KNB EFX and The Walking Dead to help transform himself into this menacing little zombie.
Walking Dead season 2 - October 16th.

Ian took to Twitter to give a little insight on his love for zombie's - this is what he tweeted, "What have I wanted to do since 1978? Be a ZOMBIE!!!

Joey Belladonna will embark on a South American tour at the end of May

BELLADONNA, the band led by former ANTHRAX frontman Joey Belladonna, will embark on a South American tour at the end of May.

So far the following dates have been announced:

A date in Peru will most likely be added as well.

Belladonna is currently writing material for a new solo album. Several demos are complete and will be posted on the vocalist's MySpace page soon http://www.myspace.com/joeybelladonna .

Belladonna was the lead singer of ANTHRAX from 1984 to 1992, and was considered part of the band's classic lineup (alongside Dan Spitz, Scott Ian, Frank Bello and Charlie Benante), which reunited and toured during 2005 and 2006. His voice was featured on over 10 albums, which reportedly sold eight million copies worldwide.

After splitting with ANTHRAX, Joey continued to make music with a solo project called BELLADONNA, which released its first self-titled debut in the mid-'90s. A follow-up effort, "Spells of Fear", came out in 1998 and it was heavily criticized for bad production and sloppy musicianship. The third album, or rather the demo recordings for what was supposed to be the third BELLADONNA album that was never recorded in a real studio, was self-released by Belladonna in 2003. It was a return to better songwriting and musicianship and it was well received by the fans.
