In the one year since Fall Against Fate's first EP 'Signals' was released, the band faced countless member losses and enough setbacks to convince most bands that it wasn't meant to be. This was not the case for the Hertfordshire band, and a year later they find themselves standing defiantly on the other side. Armed with their latest offering, in the form of their EP 'If Not For Ourselves', Fall Against Fate head into 2011 with a point to prove.

'If Not For Ourselves' is the ambitious sound of a band determined to break out of the tired conventions set by too many bands within today's heavy music genres. It is a forward-thinking record that uses bigger choruses and heavier guitars to release the sheer anger and passion built up within the band in the past 12 months.

To be released on the September 5th, the band made their live return to a sold out hometown audience. Since then the EP has garnered widespread acclaim and shows no sign of stopping any time soon. Matt Greiner of August Burns Red says "Fall Against Fate does what every other band in the Technical Metal genre tries to do... just much better, this stuff is so heavy, it sounds great".

This year a heavy touring schedule will see Fall Against Fate bringing their emotional, yet brutally technical live show to the road.
