RATT Guitarist Interviewed For Decades Of Distortion

Classic Rock Revisited's Jake Willoughby and Billy Wilson recently conducted an interview with guitarist Warren DeMartini of Californian rockers RATT for the "Decades Of Distortion" show on the Arkansas City, Kansas radio station KACY 102.5 FM. During the interview, Warren talks about how the band decided to come up with a classic-sounding new RATT album; how they plan to keep vocalist Stephen Pearcy in line; what it was like on the Sunset Strip back in the day; his love of guitars; Milton Berle and the VH1 "Behind The Music" special on RATT. The chat is now available for streaming in four parts below.

"Best Of Me", the new video from RATT, can be viewed below. The song is the first single from the band's first studio record in 11 years, "Infestation", which will be released on April 20 via Loud & Proud.
RATT vocalist Stephen Pearcy recently told AOL's Noisecreep about "Best Of Me", "You always think the grass is greener on the other side, but in fact it isn't. So you're letting someone know 'you're the best thing I got, but I had to go fuck around to figure it out.' It's one of those you-don't-know-what-you-got-'till-it's-gone kind of things. With me, I go through this shit every day. I'm married one day, then I'm not, but I am."

"Infestation" was produced by Elvis Baskette (CHEVELLE, ALTER BRIDGE) at his Virginia studio, marking the first time the band has recorded outside of Los Angeles. The album is full of attitude and of reflection, cycling through a range of emotions. There are party anthems that RATT are known for alongside more contemplative, thoughtful tunes.

RATT will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Wednesday, April 21 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with RATT by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).
