OMISSION - 2nd album soon on Xtreem Music

Spanish Satanic Speed Thrashers OMISSION have just finished the recordings of their 2nd full length album entitled "Merciless Jaws from Hell" which will be released through XTREEM MUSIC in January 2011.

The band suffered a few line-up changes since the release of their debut album "Thrash Metal is Violence" in late 2009 so this new opus was recorded by the two remaining members Patillas (guitars/vocals) & Marco (guitars) with the addition of new bass player Surt and with AVULSED's drummer Riky playing the entire recording as session member, as the band is still searching for a steady drummer.

"Merciless Jaws from Hell" was recorded between August - October at Wolfpack Studios and is a step further on the band's own style of merciless and violent Speed Thrash Metal and will empower the already leading band's position within the spanish Thrash Metal scene. OVERVIEW
Soundmass is pleased to be releasing “Death Is Dead”, the third album for Ukrainian band Coram Deo, on December 3, 2010. Formed in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, in 2003, this EP follows on from Coram Deo‟s "Escape To The Heaven" demo (2005) and their full-length "Evangelion" (2007). “Death is Dead” sees the band honing a melodic yet aggressive extreme thrash/death metal sound. It also sees Mariya walking away from the keyboard and taking over vocals from her husband Grigoriy. Influenced by the likes of Arch Enemy, Carcass, Holy Moses and Dark Tranquillity, be on the lookout for “Death is Dead” to hit stores this December.

APOLLO 18 Gets Official Poster

This is a film that has us very intrigued. Yes, it's a fact they're using the tried, true and often overused "found footage" style shooting but we think this may be the perfect fit for this type of sci-fi/horror environment. At least that's the hope around the water cooler...
Follow up:
The Weinstein Brothers are acting as if this project which is being written by Brian Miller, winner of the inaugural Astana International Action Film Festival screenplay competition, is the gold nugget they've been looking for.

Set to be shot documentary style, the film unearths lost footage from APOLLO 18's undocumented and covert mission to the moon, revealing disturbing new evidence of other life forms.

The film is slated to begin production this December for a March release date. Trevor Cawood is set to direct the project. Expect APOLLO 18 in theaters everywhere February 4th, 2011. Feast on the new one sheet poster below and stay tuned for more information about this project as we get it.
