VISIONS (Basick Records) announce debut album details!
BASICK RECORDS is extremely pleased to announce that the label's youngest new hopes VISIONS are set to release their debut album 'Home' on July 18th 2011!
Engineered by Browne and Neema from MONUMENTS and mixed by Paul Antonio Ortiz from CHIMP SPANNER, the debut 'Home' delivers 10 breath-taking tracks of well considered, yet truly organic tech-metal.

With their unique take on a genre that is often plagued with copycat bands and unoriginal ideas, VISIONS have rapidly risen through the ranks of the UK tech scene since their inception back in 2009. Kicking off their young career with a debut show as main support to the now defunct UK Metal legends Johnny Truant, the band quickly established their statement of intent, which in turn has led to a raft of key tours and support shows alongside luminaries Emmure, iwrestledabearonce, A Textbook Tragedy, Sylosis, The Arusha Accord and Exit Ten.

Seven Year Kismet's single 'Behold The Eve of Ruin' was launched on Saturday around 8pm when the band took the stage, headlining a very special release party as part of Pins & Knuckles Fest.
Now we still haven't heard from the venue manager at The Ivy so we can only assume it's gone.

A truly exciting prospect for the future of heavy music, UNEVEN STRUCTURE disassemble and reconstruct the Metal genre we all know and love, by creating contemporary atmospheric movements that are all at once dripping with seductive cinematic ambience and groove-laden riffs.
BASICK label boss, Barley comments on the signing: "I'd been following this band's movements with interest for quite some time before I finally got to see them play live in Germany at last year's Euroblast Festival. Within 30 seconds of them taking to the stage and diving into their set, my jaw was on the floor. Meshuggah-like precision combined with a TesseracT-like ethereal atmosphere made for a completely spine-tingling experience. I knew there and then that we had to sign them. I can’t wait for you all to hear this album!"

In 2010, a final line up change brought Fornost Arnor’s more symphonic Black metal sound up to date with a more Progressive and organic edge.
The band comprises of:
Greg Chivers (Vocals, Guitar, EBow and Acoustic Guitar), Will Hall (Lead Guitar), Sam Austen (Bass Guitar and Clean Vocals), and James Last (Drums)
Entitled ‘The Death of A Rose’, the new album is a very natural progression from the band’s debut, with a matured approach to song-writing,
yet retaining the familiar trademarks of the band’s unique sound that got them noticed back in 2009.
The
Mixed, mastered and programmed by Sam Wale (Elimination, Imperial Vengeance, Orion), ‘THE DEATH OF A ROSE’ seamlessly intertwines crushing riffs
with dark and majestic acoustic passages that transcend the boundaries of Metal,
and features guest vocal performances by Elle Torry (The Meads of Asphodel, Worms of Sabnock, Imperial Vengeance)
and John Phipps (Korvus, Daniel Merrill & The Flowers of Evil).

In the middle of the 90's, the city of Turin, was full of many metal bands, already established in the Italian and European. Many young emerging bands were trying to carve out a niche among the great!
The HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN underground band, born with the name of DEATH SLAUGHTER. Soon to different musical tastes and choices change the band name, change the line-up and today's HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN still maintain the strongest training in their history!
Stefano Moda, Massimo Moda and Davide Ruo Roch three heads but only one aim, initially recorded two demo-tape and a EP, until the first full album, released in 2005 for Eclipse rec.Japan!
Dead Black Sun is a hard, painful for the many label's delays and for a production that is not the band of the moment! HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN offer a powerful live set around Italy with a few stops in Europe for two years , playing in all the places available! A bad accident in Max, without the band for several years with the consequence of having lost a very important train in time! Re-established and fully operational, Max and the band began the composition of songs in 2011 would make up the new album Homicide HAGRIDDEN

The Dirty Youth Rise Up
It's no secret that The Dirty Youth have been ready to take on the Music Industry since forming in 2007, and we are pleased to announce that:

Danni Monroe (Vocals), Matt Bond (Guitar/Piano), Tom Hall (Drums), Leon Watkins (Bass) and Luke Padfield (Guitar) have proved themselves as one of the most hard-working and 'screwed on' bands in their genre.
Their music video and mini documentary was featured on ITV's 'Unsigned', they've supporting Skindred on their UK Tour and booked a 33 date UK tour, themselves, including an appearance on the Scuzz stage at Bloodstock Festival,
and sell-out shows at the Monto Water Rats (London), The Grand Junction (Bucks) and Le Pub (Newport).
They have recently signed a Worldwide management deal with Rob Ferguson who can already confirm they will be tearing up the stage on Friday at Download Festival 2011 and have also inked a six figure record deal via Universal.

has been mixed by Martyn 'Ginge' Ford and Colin Richardson (Slipknot, BFMV, Trivium) and is due to be mastered by none other then Sterling Sound (Aerosmith, AC/DC, Michael Jackson)
and will be released later this year via Universal.

British technical wizards and genre-molding mentalists ALIASES are ready to push musical boundaries even further with the announcement of their forthcoming debut release, ‘Safer Than Reality’ which is out on August 15th via Basick Records.
Over the course of eight tracks and 28 minutes, 'Safer Than Reality' is an athletic display of technical metal and progressive groove delivered with an addictive, head banging immediacy that is set to mentally engage and challenge the listener.

Having only finalised their line up in April last year ALIASES rose from the melting-pot minds of ex SikTh guitarist Pin, guitarist Leah Woodward, drummer Darren Pugh, bassist Joe Heaton and vocalist Jay Berast. The phenomenal response to their online release of the demo track “We Never Should Have Met” prompted an invitation to play their debut show at the prestigious Euroblast festival in Germany, where they inked their deal with Basick. Following in the spirit of Pin’s legendary legacy, ALIASES are redefining the genre’s boundaries, with a hunger for experimentation and no fear of extremes.
Guitarist Pin said: “It’s a truly momentous occasion for us to know that part one of the ALIASES story is finally going to hit many pairs of ears across the globe. We are interested only in taking Metal on a new and limitless path, allowing the music and vocals to grow organically and exist outside the common constraints of a single genre. The band formed in 2006 as a project of Hannes. After experimenting with members of PUTRIDITY and EGEMONY, a lasting partnership was formed in 2008 when vocalist Bazza joined the band.
The pair entered Magostudio in Trento at the end of 2010 to record their debut album, "Deification Of The Grotesque" which includes guest appearances from members of PUTRIDITY, SEPTYCAL GORGE and VOMIT THE SOUL.
The release will feature 10 tracks of crushing brutal death metal for fans of DISGORGE, DEVOURMENT and SIKFUK. Preorders will be available soon but in the meantime a preview track can be heard at the link below...

German brutal death metallers DEFEATED SANITY are putting the finishing touches to some new bonus tracks for a upcoming reissue of their debut album, “Prelude To The Tragedy”.
The tracks include a rerecorded version of “Expectoration Of Fear” from their 2000 demo and an as yet undisclosed cover song, both of which will feature their new vocalist, Konstantin Lühring (ex-DESPONDENCY). The reissue will be available ready for their upcoming tour with GORGASM/AMAGORTIS.

Madrid, Spain’s LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER will see the release of their new full-length Eterno Treblinka this June via Relapse. Eterno Treblinka, which shares a title with the Charles Patterson book about animal rights, was recorded at FDS and VRS studios in Madrid and was engineered by Samuel Ruiz. The album includes 16 brand new tracks as well as a cover of FEAR OF GOD’s “Running Through The Blood”. Eterno Treblinka will see its release on June 7th and is available for pre-order at this location. The vinyl pressing will be through Power It Up in Europe and Deep Six in North America.

Human has been entirely re-mixed by longtime DEATH producer Jim Morris and re-mastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, CONVERGE, THE MISFITS). This special 20th anniversary edition of the album will come complete with expanded packaging featuring liner notes from Morris as well as former DEATH / current CYNIC guitarist Paul Masvidal and over an hour of newly unearthed, previously unreleased early demo tracks. Human will be available on 2- and 3- disc sets as well as digitally. CD pre-orders are being accepted now at this location, digitally via iTunes, and additional release information will be posted shortly.

REVOCATION recorded Chaos of Forms at Damage Studios in Southbridge, Massachusetts with engineer Pete Rutcho. The follow-up to the band’s break-through Relapse debut Existence Is Futile will feature 12 new tracks totaling a little over 45 minutes in length. Chaos of Forms has been set for an August 16th North American release date, September 5th internationally, with additional release information to be posted soon.
Additionally, REVOCATION has added more U.S. tour dates to either side of their upcoming tour alongside FORBIDDEN, WHITE WIZARD, and HAVOK. A complete listing of REVOCATION tour dates can be found here with more to be announced soon.
